As leading specialists in oncology treatment, we have experience working with the latest cancer treatments and delivering state-of-the-art care, but your individual needs, personal values, and unique situation will help us to form your treatment plan. A treatment plan that is designed with purpose and delivered with kindness and compassion.

Starting your treatment journey

We understand that your cancer diagnosis is a stressful, life-changing event. That is why we take the time to speak with you, to understand your situation, and communicate with you in a way that is comforting, supportive, and will ensure we deliver your care in the best way possible.

At SalutisCare, you and your loved ones won’t embark on your treatment journey alone. With the support of our team, you will be welcomed into our clinic, guided through every stage of your journey, and provided with evidence-based treatment from experts who care.

Please note, we are not a diagnostic service. All relevant information about your cancer diagnosis will be sent to our team from your GP or referring specialist prior to your first appointment with us.

As a new patient, once we have received your referral, we will be in touch to book your appointment and will endeavour to see you within two weeks.

If there is a need for any prior investigations before an appointment, we will be in contact with your GP or referring specialist to organise this. It is important that our team have all of the necessary information pertaining to your diagnosis prior to your first appointment with us. This enables us to determine the best treatment plan for you.

At your first appointment you will meet your Medical Oncologist (see “Our Team”).

We recommend you bring a support person with you to your first appointment. There will be a lot of information to be discussed. It can be stressful to hear this so having a support person with you to take notes is important.

We also ask that you bring all of the details required to complete the enrolment paperwork, including information about any medication you are currently taking and any known allergies.

To prepare for this first appointment we recommend you make a list of questions that you want to discuss with your specialist. We will have the time to go through these with you
