Dr Jayden Wong

Medical Oncologist, fRACP, MBChB (Auckland)

Dr Jayden Wong is a New Zealand-trained medical oncologist who treats a variety of solid organ malignancies, with special interest in treatment of lung cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, and melanoma.  Apart from chemotherapy, he is familiar with immunotherapy and targeted therapies.  Jayden obtained the FRACP qualification and has been a consultant medical oncologist since 2018. He is an investigator in a number of clinical trials.  He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), and New Zealand Society for Oncology (NZSO).

Jayden practices evidence-based and precision medicine.  He analyses the cancer behaviour/biology and patient general health before tailoring the treatment to his individual patient.  He is compassionate and caring.  He believes patient education and family involvement are also the essential factors in successful cancer care.

Jayden is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
